Why I can't see my friends location on the map?
If you can't see it on the map, your friend has not allowed the app to track location. Don't worry, if their app doesn't allow location tracking, they won't be able to see you and use the Socifind as well. They have to allow location permission.
I lost connection, how can I reconnect?Connection is lost when a device is unable to communicate with the Socifind server. It is also possible the device itself is not allowing Socifind to update when running in the background, causing the app to lose connection.The fastest way for you to regain connection is to refresh the app by logging out and logging back in again.
Can someone locate me without knowingi it?As soon as you log out of Socifind or turn off location permissions, your location will no longer shared with your friends.
How can I improve location accuracy?Location accuracy depends on many factors, such as your phone and your environment. For your phone, check that all location services are turned ON, including GPS, mobile data and Wi-Fi. Also, whitelist Socifind for any battery optimization or other restriction.
NOTE: Power-saving mode could stop location services or decrease drastically the location accuracy.
For Android:
Go to Settings, tap Location
Check that Location is activated and selected location method is "High Accuracy"
Wi-Fi must be activated.
